THE F**KING WRATH: 'Terra Fire' EP Details Revealed

August 7, 2010

Montalvo, California hardcore crust/metal band THE FUCKING WRATH has inked a deal with New York City's Tee Pee Records. The merciless quartet, whose sound has been described as "an amalgamation of groups such as DISCHARGE, BLACK FLAG, THE MELVINS and "Kill 'Em All'-era METALLICA," will release the five song "Terra Fire" EP on October 19.

Delivering a sound assault that mixes blistering distortion, nihilistic rage, scorching metallic power and fire-breathing vocals mixed with dangerously high levels of intensity, THE FUCKING WRATH does not mess around. Heavy, dark and fast, the band goes straight for the throat, displaying a killer instinct and that is downright frightening.

The band formed in 2005, recorded its first album, "Season of Evil", the week of 06.06.06 and embarked on two nationwide DIY tours alongside everyone from TRAGEDY to BLUE CHEER to HIGH ON FIRE, gaining an army of enthusiasts with each and every live performance. THE FUCKING WRATH now averages close to 150 shows per year with no sign of slowing down.

The band will follow the upcoming "Terra Fire" EP with a full album of new material in 2011.

"Terra Fire" EP track listing:

01. Low Brow
02. With the Fangs of God
03. Don't Look Back
04. Blank Slate
05. Hurricane

THE FUCKING WRATH will embark on a string of West Coast tour dates this fall alongside new labelmates ANCESTORS. The band will also perform as one of the featured acts at this weekend's Power Of The Riff festival, set to take place on Sunday, August 8 at The Echo and EchoPlex in Los Angeles. Presented by Converse and curated with the intent to "blur the lines between metal, hardcore, punk and rock music," the free event will feature THE FUCKING WRATH alongside such names as CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, REPULSION, GOATSNAKE, COLISEUM, NIGHT HORSE and many more.
